God, I hope the new nofollow tag will eventually make this ploy even more of a waste of time for these spammer jerks, because they are wasting my time and resources.
Of course, my ref logs are private, so it's already a waste of time for them in my case, but not everybody's is. Even that big affiliatized host Globat uses public logs. Dufuses.
On my big sites, half of the entries are phenter*ine this and tex*s-h*ldem and vi*gra that. I've noticed if I visit the URLs they always seem to have a big message about the hosting account being closed, but there is something fishy going on here. Why would they continue to ref log spam after their site is toast? Hmm....
Guess I shouldn't be too surprised about all the shit in the logs, as that damn Ref*y spamming program is only $50.
