I noticed that the outbound messages generated by PHP software has a blank FROM addy.
This is different than on my last host, so I know that there should be a configuration change I can make to get this field populated with something like account1@account1.com and account2@account2.net.
Tech support indicated that they didn't know of a way for each individual account on my box to get a unique FROM without setting it in software, but that's what I want.
Running, Exim, if that matters, probably does.
Anybody have any ideas on this?

What php/OS/mailer are you using? Do you have access to the php file doing the mailing?
If so, open it up and search on mail(
The headers are passed in the fourth argument. Can you do some debugging to find out what is happening with arg 4?

Yeah, I need to look into the code more on this because I've since realized that the phpBB stuff is working right, but my directory software isn't.
Now that I know this isn't a universal problem, I'm not as worried.
