Not sure if anyone noticed, but the expired domains removal is on a back log. Apparently someone has been trying to abuse the system, so something new is being worked on. I only found this out when trying to register a domain name that expired two weeks ago, but was still not removed.
Anyone have more info on what the abuse was about, and how the new system will work?
