Sometimes I cannot believe how much time I spend working around Microsoft bugs.
In this case, it's IE's broken CSS.
I want my life to be more creative. I want to spend more time being effective for people. I have expertise that helps others achieve thier goals and dreams. All I need is for a meter to keep being a meter and a gram to stay a gram.
Microsoft, however, cannot be bothered with such things as standards. They cannot seem to hire programmers who know how to fix SIX YEAR OLD BUGS. Because of this, I take much of my positive energy and crap it rite outta my round ass working around MS deficiencies instead of using standards to help make the world a better place. This makes me angry at the wasted potential.
I could have done SO much more with my day.

Where do you want to debug today?
I hear ya' man.
Bill pledges safer online computing, but IE is a risk to use.
Just today I logged a bug report at work against one of our products. Turns out that the program's pathname environment variable isn't being set depending on how the program is run. Work around MS bug ensues.
I once had the pleasure of working with Microsoft "support". The kind you have to pay for. In the end they acknowledged a problem but had no resolution. I had to say I was satisfied just so the tech could close my report. That was fun. I guess in the end I was the one who provided support for them.
Firefox is pretty nice...

I figure that about 25-30% of the price we charge for a website goes to pay for troubleshooting for darn IE bugs and lack of standards. This is a totally useless way to spend so much time. It is amazing that some of the same people paying for this still think that M$ is amazing.
