Private Domain Registrations?  Reply with quote

Go Daddy's Bob Parsons is pretty upset about the changes that mean that they will no longer be able to sell private registrations, at least on .us TLDs.

What do you think about this? Should we be able to hide our information on domain name registrations, or do you think this is just protecting people who might be up to no good, like running a phishing operation, etc.

Privacy or Openess?

I vote for openness. I don't have anything to hide from the public.

Although I do appreciate privacy, I've never been too interested in this service. But I can see why Go Daddy would want to retain the right$ to sell this service... Wink
