| Text link buying tips. |

I recently bought about 1800 links from a decent-PR website. The links were all put up and the transaction went well, but man it was pricey.
I am considering buying from a bulk seller rather than an individual website owner, since the prices are much cheaper.
I've looked at a few sellers, but wanted to see if anyone here has had any good/bad experiences with any link sellers that they'd like to share. _________________ ---

I've bought link packages from individuals but no bulk packages, so I don't have any specific advice there.
I've got the feeling that tons of links from the same website isn't as useful as it used to be. While it's nice to get several links from a high PR site for PR transfer, the benefit as far as anchor text has it's limits.
The only venue I've used is the LinkAdAge auction site, but I've bought links from individual site owners that had provided link advertising info on their site.

I got the links I mentioned in my post from a website on LinkAdage as well. I like their interface and searching capability. That is one thing about the text link seller I'm looking at, though, because they have dozens and dozens of websites that your links are spread across, so I'm thinking it would be better on the rankings than buying from just one website. _________________ ---

I'm not sure I understand. You buy links?
Why not just buy advertising? Are there really any shortcuts in life?

Not in life, no, but in search engine optimization, yes. You have two choices: the short route (buy links) or the long route (get links by trading them). The short path gets you up in the results faster, but of course is more expensive. It also carries greater risk because the engines don't like it much. More risk, more reward. It all depends on your business plan. _________________ ---
