There are really only 2 programs you need to learn to design really good web sites.

Adobe Photoshop / Imageready (same software) & Macromedia Dreamweaver

There are TONNES of free tutorials available for photoshop online
and for Dreamweaver, almost every possible tutorial you need to know
is included in the 'Help' file.

My only tip for Dreamweaver is learn to use tables and frames for your
layout. View the scource for pages like Yahoo to see how tables are used.

I made the mistake of paying $20,000 in tution to learn this stuff when really I could have learned it all for free like so many people I know have.

I would suggest learning CSS instead of using tables and frames.

I use CSS heavily on all my sites. This allows me to change the entire look and feel of my site by editing one file.
